Charlie Green

Drums & Percussion

Charlie Green's musical journey began in 5th grade when he picked up the trumpet, but his fascination with drumming quickly led him to switch instruments. His early guitar days consisted of knowing just one chord, but that didn't deter him from performing in his first band. The real breakthrough came with Merchant in Western PA, followed by Ground Zero upon his move to the east side of PA, where they even had a showcase with A&M records.

Later, Charlie relocated to Arizona, where he lent his talents to various bands before settling into a 12-year stint with Tattooed Soul. Though initially on bass, his drumming prowess quickly became evident, leading him back to the kit. They recorded a successful CD and garnered airplay on local radio stations, as well as reaching audiences in Europe and Australia. His musical journey also saw the formation of Jake Ryan, an 80’s new wave/dance band that remains a resilient presence, performing sporadically.

Charlie's foray into the Tribute scene marked the birth of Surrender – The Cheap Trick Experience alongside his bandmate David Dion. He also contributed to Broken Lullaby, a Cars Tribute, with fellow bandmates Wags and Desi. For the past 5 years, Charlie has been an integral part of One More Night – The Phil Collins Experience, showcasing his versatility and dedication to music.
